Inside a reconfigured hotel suite, we embark upon an experimental film—a journey into unbridled sensory expression.
This "heterotopia" serves as the genesis: a space detached from daily order, yet authentically existing. Through a montage of nuanced collages, the boundary between reality and fantasy gracefully dissolves.
Beyond the threshold, lies social identity and established norms; Within, only the most elemental form and breath reside. At this precise intersection of the real and the imagined: mirrors, draped veils, and ephemeral light converge; desire manifests.
Mao Yuanxun—a professional Chinese soccer player—interprets this theme with his highly expressive power. He embodies the intrinsic masculine energy: intense, visceral, and unvarnished.
Through the lens, we immortalize this fleeting moment, capturing a singular aesthetic—the temperament of a rising generation of Asian men.
For SALIGIA, cinematic sensibility is far more than a mere aesthetic facade. Through it, we establish a profound dialogue between the individual, the body, and the image, allowing desire to be rendered palpable, indelible, and treasured.
